Career

I have worked in public service for almost 10 years in roles ranging from housing management, leadership development and running nationwide recruitment campaigns. I am a senior leader in the civil service, a coach and also work with recruitment agencies to help companies support people into employment. I have been coaching for several years, formalising my training at The University of Cambridge and am also a member of the Association for Coaching.

More broadly, I care deeply about addressing inequality, particularly in education as a primary school governor and trustee of Tutors United. I have also led staff networks, sat on nationwide equalities steering groups and both produced and overseen the development of equalities reviews and action plans.

Challenges I support clients with

I have worked with a vast array of clients. This has ranged from those in the earlier stages of their careers to established leaders in periods of personal and professional transition.

My work with clients has not always been focused on career and/or business development however. In reality, some of the most significant progress made has involved supporting clients to build and maintain confidence and resilience, establish a personal vision, and find a sense of direction to enable them to take positive steps forward in their lives and achieve their goals.
